The Soul On A Shirt
Inspired by Chef Mauro's original drawing of The Soul In A Bowl, from December 2009, the Soul On A Shirt embodies the values that OEB has been built upon. The shirt highlights our commitment to the culinary experience, is built in collaboration with an amazing local supplier, Local Laundry, with all the proceeds going back into our amazing communities through our partnership with Mealshare.
Local Laundry is a company that builds community, from the garments they sell to the charities they benefit. This isn’t about how the clothes look (but, yeah, they look good) it’s about how they make people feel—comfortable and charitable.
All the shirts are entirely made in Canada because OEB supports local whenever possible from the eggs on your plate to the shirt on your back. Made from organic cotton, and bamboo, these eco-friendly fibres are naturally antimicrobial and create the softest shirts you will ever wear
Mealshare is on a quest to end youth hunger. Our world produces enough food to feed every single person- the issue is with the allocation of that food. Mealshare is committed to creating a world where it’s easier to share with those in need, and every child and youth is fed as a result. And, they won’t stop until that’s happened.
